ভারত-চীন দুই দেশের অবস্থান এখন বিপরীত মেরুতে। এমন অবস্থার মাঝে পাকিস্তান নৌবহরে যোগ হয়েছে চীনের তৈরি অত্যাধুনিক যুদ্ধজাহাজ। পাকিস্তানের জন্য তৈরি চারটি রণতরীর প্রথমটি বুঝিয়ে দিয়েছে বেইজিং। এটিকে চীন-পাকিস্তান প্রতিরক্ষায় নতুন অধ্যায় বলে আখ্যায়িত করছে আন্তর্জাতিক সংবাদ মাধ্যমগুলো।
রোববার পাকিস্তান নৌবাহিনীর মুখপাত্র অ্যাডমিরাল আরশিদ জাভেদ এক টুইট বার্তায় জানিয়েছেন, চীনের সাংগাই শহরের হুডং জংগুয়া শিপিয়ার্ডে অত্যাধুনিক রণতরীটির ০৫৪ লঞ্চিং অনুষ্ঠান হয়। এতে পাকিস্তান নৌবাহিনীর প্রধান আজফার হুমায়ুন যোগদান করেন। এ সময় চীনা শিপবিল্ডিং কোম্পানি লিমিটেডের চেয়ারম্যান লি হংতাও ছাড়াও দেশটির গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ব্যক্তিরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
এই রণতরীতে সর্বশেষ অত্যাধুনিক অস্ত্রশস্ত্র সংযোজন করা হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে বিমান বিধ্বংসী ক্ষেপণাস্ত্র যুক্ত করা হয়েছে। পাশাপাশি এটি থেকে দূরপাল্লার ক্ষেপণাস্ত্রের সাহায্যে ভূমিতেও আক্রমণ করা যাবে।
এতে অত্যাধুনিক সেন্সর ও যুদ্ধ ব্যবস্থাপনা পদ্ধতি সংযুক্ত রয়েছে। করোনার মধ্যেও রণতরীটি সম্পূর্ণ করা পাকিস্তানি নৌবাহিনীর পক্ষ থেকে টুইট বার্তায় চীনা শিপইয়ার্ডকে ধন্যবাদ জানানো হয়। পাশাপাশি শান্তি ও স্থিতিশীলতায় এটি ভূমিকা রাখবে বলেও টুইট বার্তায় বলা হয়।
তুর্কি সংবাদ মাধ্যম ইয়েনি শাফাক জানিয়েছে, সর্বপ্রথম ২০১৭ সালে দুটি যুদ্ধজাহাজের জন্য চীনা কোম্পানির সঙ্গে চুক্তি করে পাকিস্তান। পরবর্তীতে ২০১৮ সালে আরও যুদ্ধজাহাজের জন্য চুক্তিবদ্ধ হয় দেশটি।
এর আগে চিরবৈরী ভারতের সঙ্গে শক্তি সমন্বয় করতে ২০১৬ সালে চীনা কোম্পানির সঙ্গে ৮টি ডিজেল চালিত সাবমেরিন ক্রয়ে ৫ বিলিয়ন ডলারের চুক্তি করে। ২০২৮ সালে এগুলো হস্তান্তর করার কথা রয়েছে। তবে বিশ্লেষকরা এটিকে দক্ষিণ এশীয় শক্তিতে প্রতিযোগিতার লড়াই হিসেবে দেখছেন। ভারতের সঙ্গে প্রতিবেশী দেশগুলোর সঙ্গে সীমান্ত নিয়ে দ্বন্দ্ব রয়েছে। সম্প্রতি লাদাখে চীনের সঙ্গে ভারতের রক্তক্ষয়ী সংঘর্ষ হয়েছে।
নেপালও ভারতের কয়েকটি এলাকা নিজেদের দাবি করে নতুন মানচিত্র প্রকাশ করেছে। এরই মধ্যে পাকিস্তানের সঙ্গে চীনের প্রতিরক্ষা সম্পর্ক মজবুত হওয়ায় স্বাভাবিক কারণেই উদ্বিগ্ন ভারত। তবে এখন পর্যন্ত ভারতের তাৎক্ষণিক মন্তব্য পাওয়া যায়নি।
