আগামী একাদশ জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনের আগে সংবিধানে হাত দেয়ার কোনো সুযোগ নেই বলে জানিয়েছেন আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক ও সেতুমন্ত্রী ওবায়দুল কাদের।বুধবার বেলা ১১টায় সেতু ভবনে ভারতীয় হাইকমিশনার শ্রী হর্ষবর্ধন শ্রিংলার সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ শেষে তিনি এ কথা বলেন। ওবায়দুল কাদের বলেন, আগামী নির্বাচনের আগে সংবিধানে হাত দেওয়ার কোনও সুযোগ নেই। নির্বাচন শেখ হাসিনা সরকারের অধীনেই হবে না। বিএনপি যদি দুই-তৃতীয়াংশ ভোট পেয়ে ক্ষমতায় আসে, তাহলে তারা মনের মাধুরী মিশিয়ে সংবিধান পরিবর্তন করতে পারবে।
তিনি বলেন, বিএনপি সহায়ক সরকারের কথা বলছে। এখন শুনি তারা আবার তত্ত্বাবধায়ক সরকারের কথা বলেছে। আসলে তারা কখন কী চায়, তা তারা ছাড়া আর কেউ জানে না।
রোহিঙ্গা প্রসঙ্গে তিনি বলেন, রোহিঙ্গা ইস্যুতে ভারত সরকারের অবস্থান আগের চেয়ে এখন অনেক পরিবর্তন হয়েছে। তারাও চাইছে মিয়ানমার যাতে তাদের ফিরিয়ে নেয়।
