একই আসরে দুই কনে। অথচ বর একজন। সন্দীপ উইকি যে দু’জনকে বিয়ে করেছেন, তার মধ্যে একজন তার প্রেমিকা। অন্যজনকে তার পরিবারের সদস্যরা পছন্দ করেছে।
ভারতের মধ্যপ্রদেশের বেতুল জেলা সদর থেকে ৪০ কিলোমিটার দূরে ঘোডাডোংরি ব্লকের কেরিয়া গ্রামের বাসিন্দা সন্দীপ। গত ৮ জুলাই দুই কনেকে একই আসরে বিয়ে করেন তিনি। জেলা প্রশাসন বিষয়টি নিয়ে তদন্ত শুরু করেছে।
এখন পর্যন্ত পাওয়া খবর অনুযায়ী, সন্দীপ আদিবাসী যুবক। তিনি সব রীতি মেনে একই সঙ্গে দুই নারীকে বিয়ে করেছেন। তাদের একজন হোসাঙ্গাবাদের বাসিন্দা।
সন্দীপ যখন ভোপালে পড়াশোনা করতেন, তখন ওই তরুণীর সঙ্গে তার পরিচয়। পরে সন্দীপের পরিবার কোয়ালারি গ্রামের এক তরুণীর সঙ্গে তার বিয়ে ঠিক করে।
দুই পাত্রীকে নিয়ে সন্দীপের পরিবারে অশান্তির সৃষ্টি হয়। ঝামেলা মেটাতে সন্দীপ ও দুই তরুণীর পরিবারকে ডাকে। বৈঠকে ঠিক করা হয়, দুই তরুণী যদি সন্দীপের সঙ্গে থাকতে রাজি হন, তাহলে তিনি দু’জনকেই বিয়ে করতে পারবেন।
কেরিয়া গ্রামে বসে বিয়ের আসর। সন্দীপ দুই কনেকে অগ্নিসাক্ষী রেখে বিয়ে করেন। সেখানে গ্রামের লোকজন উপস্থিত ছিল। সন্দীপ এবং দুই কনের বাড়ির লোকও ছিল।
ঘোডাডোংরি জনপদ পঞ্চায়েতের সহ-সভাপতি মিশ্রিলাল পারাতে ছিলেন বিয়ের অন্যতম সাক্ষী। তিনি বলেন, তিনটি পরিবারেরই এই বিয়েতে কোনো আপত্তি নেই।
